Reinad signed vintage gold toned pearl and turquoise flower locket Chanel Novelty Company
Stunning large Reinad necklace with pearl embedded locket. Small turquoise colored beads make up the five petal forget me knot design. The inside of the locket has a frame that is removable for pictures. The Reinad company did not produce many of their own products but became mass manufactures for high end companies like Boucher, Eisenberg and Carnegie. They were originally under the Chanel Novelty Company until Coco Chanel sued in the 1940's and they started to use this specific signature in late 1941. Jewelry with this signature can be rare due to limited manufacturing of products and age. Good vintage condition with small signs of wear. There are two pearl located on the leaves of the flowers that have a small amount of coating loss as seen in pictures.
Necklace measures 15.75 inches in length.
Locket measures 2 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide.
