Siam is what is now known as present day Thailand. It is common for jewelry out of this area of the world to depict the deities they commonly worshiped. These earrings feature the goddess of lightning Makkala. The technique of enameling they used is commonly referred to as nielloware. These earrings are a bright white in color.
